1720 Southern Championships
We are delighted to confirm that the 1720 Southern Championships for 2024 will be held at a novel event at Lough Derg Yacht Club in Dromineer on the 28th and 29th September.

National Championships
The 2022 season will culminate with the National Championships in Baltimore. Always a fun venue, it will be a great way to finish off the season.
Baltimore Cup
A relaxing, fun event that is a change of pace from our usual class events with no crew weight limits. Great way to spend the long weekend!
European Championships (Cork Week)
As part of the Tricentenary celebrations for the Royal Cork Yacht Club, the class will race over the 5 days for the European Championships. With close to 40 boats anticipated, its shaping up to be one of the biggest 1720 events in recent years and won’t be one to miss!
The Wave Regatta
The Wave Regatta, hosted by Howth Yacht Club, promises to be a fun event both onshore and afloat. Having hosted 1720’s before, they are well equipped to get some great racing in. HYC are also pulling out all the stops for the onshore entertainment, making this event a must!
Eastern Championships (Dun Laoghaire Cup)
Our opening 1720 class event on the 2022 calendar promises to bring some great racing afloat and plenty of entertainment ashore. We hope to see you there!
